Cutting Tools

CNC

Design:

Body made of tempered steel. The special surface hardening guarantees increased

wear resistance. Thanks to the carbide bushings higher speeds, faster machining and an impro-

ved tool life are achieved. In addition, the tool has a modular design which allows it to be used

universally as a right and left version.

Conversion is simply by turning the knurling head. The

clearance angle is set using the set screws on the shaft, fine adjustment for straight knurling

using the adjustable knurling head. Retooling times are reduced considerably through precise

positioning of the cut knurling head using the scale, simple pre-adjustment and reproducible

setting parameters. Supplied without cut knurling wheel.

Application:

For cut knurling (chip removal).

Can be used for feed knurling. The tool can be used for knurling on the workpiece according to

DIN 82: RAA, RBL, RBR.

Knurled wheels:

RAA

–1 piece BL 30° (for use on the left)/

1 piece BR 30° (for use on the right)

RBR 30° –1 x AA

RBL 30° –1 x AA

Machine type:

Swiss type autolathes and small lathes –CNC and conventional –centre height

is integrated in the tool holder.

a constant knurling depth, a setting spindle and a setting scale. Synchronous setting of the knurl

holding unit to the workpiece diameter is done using the central setting screw. Supplied without

cut knurling wheel. Modular design: Adaptation of the shank sizes by means of adapter angle.
