Polygon shank Capto C6. Chuck and shank in one piece.

Clamping (using a hex spanner) essentially increases clamping force

in comparison to conventional chucks. At the same time, this secures

the chuck against becoming loose during left-handed rotation or being

quickly decelerated from higher speeds. Taper to DIN 254.

with short taper DIN 55027/ISO 702/III. Greater holding power

and accurate concentricity due to collets as three-jaw chucks.

Application:

Conventional and CNC machines, e.g. for turning,

drilling, milling and grinding. Ideal for small series.

Design:

According to DIN 6343 with a smooth bore (up to ∅ 8.0 mm)

or transverse grooves (from ∅ 8.5 mm).

Closure range:

h9, i.e. only nominal size can be clamped.

Application:

For workpiece clamping (bar or chuck work) in conven-

tional, single-spindle lathes, e.g. with manual chucks HSPF and CNC
