Drilling chuck with minimum length compensation SYNCHRO T

DIN

69871

Drilling chuck with minimum length compensation SYNCHRO T

The feed axis is synchronised with spindle rotary movement on

CNC machining centres. This allows cutting threads without length

compensation (“rigid drilling”) with these synchronised spindles.

Practice, however, has shown that there are synchronisation faults.

High axial forces reducing the service life by high flange friction

develop as a result when rigid drilling chucks are being used leading

to threads which are not true to gauge size or result in inaccurate

threads. This problem is eliminated using drilling chucks with

minimum length compensation.

SYNCHRO T drilling chucks technical features:

• minimum length compensation on tension/compression (±0.5 mm)

• High radial rigidity due to double bearing

• High concentricity

• High clamping force due to clamping using collet chuck taps

with female square

• Separate compression/tension mechanism

• Defined, adjustable compression/tension forces

• Compact, wear-free design

• Long life

• Internal coolant supply

• No clamping nuts with sealing discs necessary when using coolants,

because the FAHRION drilling collets GERC-GBD are generally

delivered with sealing plugs (usable up to 120 bar)

• Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) possible upon request
