Members will be pleased to note that Michael W.
Carrigan (right) assumed office as President for 1985/86
of the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocates/
Young Lawyers' International Association at the recent
A.I. J.A. Congress in Lisbon.
Michael, who is a partner in the Dublin firm of
Eugene F. Collins & Son, was one of the earliest Irish
lawyers to become active in A.I.J. A. and was Chairman
of the Committee which organised the A.I.J.A.
Congress in Dublin in 1981, still spoken of by members
of A.I.J. A. as one of the most successful and enjoyable
of their Congresses.
