“It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the

promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness

that comes by faith.

Fo r i f t ho s e who l i v e by l aw ar e he i r s , f a i t h has no

va l ue and t he pr omi s e i s wo r t h l e s s

, because law brings wrath. And where

there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore,

t he pr omi s e c ome s by

f a i t h

, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s

offspring

not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of

the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: ‘I have made

you a father of many nations.’ He is our father in the sight of God, in whom

he believed—the

God who g i v e s l i f e t o t he dead and c a l l s t h i ng s t ha t ar e

no t as t hough t he y we r e

. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and

so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So

shall your offspring be.’”

(Romans 4: 13-18)

“The law eventually separates those who affirm the truth and those who

remain in the lie, as being deceived. However, There is now no

condemnation for those who are in Christ [anointed one] Jesus, because

through Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin

and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by

the sinful nature,

God d i d by s end i ng h i s own Son i n t he l ikene s s o f

s i n f u l man t o be a s i n o f f e r i ng

. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,

in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us,

who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what

that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have

their minds set on what the Spirit desires.”

“’The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is

life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God.

I t do e s no t submi t t o

God ’ s l aw, no r c an i t do s o .

Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot

please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by

the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.’ ‘And if anyone does not have

the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if is in you, your body

is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteous-ness. And

if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who

raised [anointed one] Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal

bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.’”

(Romans 8: 1-11)

In regard to the seed of Abraham, to whom does the prophecy apply? Did

it apply to the Hebrew, Arab or Gentiles—who claimed Christianity—for

all were under past laws? How is the prophecy fulfilled, or has it already
