the ignorant do not know, and do not accept any word that is not part of
their belief system.
The two must be one in body and spirit, but society is divided and not one
in a holy spirit. The problem is or should be clearly visible, but it is not. The
problem is spiritual with physical consequences. The solution must be
found and lives lived differently. There are many reasons and justifications
for the state of life today, but can you see the injustice in the world, and the
focus of the individual who has a very dim spiritual light within? Can you
see the social issues of today, and that perhaps life was intended to be
another way? Think about it and about your
da i l y br ead
, but then also
reflect on the spiritual condition with which you perceive the world. Ask
yourself what will happen when the lights go out, that is, when technology
fails. Who will provide the bread or the essentials of life? Who will have and
who will not? Look around; it is already beginning to happen. If we remain
spiritually divided we lack unity according to the common good of the body
of which we are to be a part.
Obedience is essential, so what will you do when asked to bow and accept
the mark of the beast? You won’t be able to remain in the status quo! Will
your religion tell you what to do? The answer is simple: most will bow and
be told that they are excused for doing so. The Scriptures, however, speak
differently and they are true. Reflect: “Because of the signs he was given
power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the
earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast that was
wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to
the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused
to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great,
rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his
forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is
the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If
anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s
number. His number is 666.”

Those who defile themselves
will receive a just reward, and while there may seem to be no other way,
there is!
Fear is misperception, just as sacrifice is an illusion. For Jesus sacrifice was
more than a reality—He was a witness for those who would follow. At the
hands of the ignorant, idle threats; false aspersions will be cast, as if they are
stones, yet they are willingly accepted. Satan can do no more than threaten,
and all threats are merely lies, for Satan was a liar from the beginning.
