FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
In accordance with Mississippi Code, Section 31-11-27, each year community and junior college will submit a five-year capital
improvements plan to the MCCB for approval. The plan shall consist of immediate and long-range capital improvement needs.
The capital improvement needs will be defined as a collection of individual projects. The projects will be divided into two types,
Repair and Renovations (RR) or Capital Improvement (CI). The classification of a project will be based on a predetermined
estimated budget range. Each project will include the following information.
Project title and identification
Priority
Estimated budged
Scope of work to be performed
Justification for project
After the projects have been approved, the MCCB staff will compile the projects and submit them to the Department of Finance
and Administration, Bureau of Buildings and Grounds.
