GUIDELINES FOR ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS
1.
The Mississippi Community College Board is authorized by legislation to administer the General Educational
Development (GED) High School Equivalency Testing Program under the policies and guidelines of the GED High
School Equivalency Testing Service of the American Council on Education.
2.
Only students who have demonstrated the ability to perform on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) at an 8th
grade level on the overall battery of Levels D or A.
