COMMISSION ON PROPRIETARY SCHOOL AND COLLEGE REGISTRATION (REGULATIONS
)
Under the authority of Mississippi Code 75-60, which passed during the 1992 legislative session, the administration for
Proprietary Schools and College Registration was transferred to the Mississippi Community College Board from the State
Department of Education. The State Board’s responsibilities include the appointment of a five-member commission pursuant to
the aforementioned Mississippi Code; acquiring staff for the administration; and serving as the appellant organization for
decisions rendered by the commission.
