To meet the tremendous demand for Hiram
Walker &Sons' products in the United States,
this famous old house has erected, at Peoria,
Illinois, the largest distillery in the world at a
cost of over $ 10,000,000.
This new distillery, equipped throuqhout with
the most modern machinery, occupies thirty-
eight acres of ground, and has a capacity of
20,000 bushels of grain per day. Twenty-four
fermenting tanks with a capacity of 120,000
gallons each, supply 100,000 gallons of whisky
everv 24 hours. The bottling house handles
20,000 dozen quarts every 7 hour day.
