-Check batteries they may need to be replaced. If that is the
case be sure to put new batteries back in the same way the old
ones were
Error message-
If you get an error message that ‘Your service will be
restored shortly’ try resetting the STB. This often corrects the problem
and your service will be restored quickly. To reset STB all you have to
do is unplug the small cord in the back of the STB and plug it back in
or push the On/Off button on STB and hold it for about 10 seconds.

Internet-
Try rebooting computer (shut it down and
restart) and rebooting Router (unplug it and plug it back in). This
often corrects simple issues
