Backprojection

Developing the mathematics behind, one can see that via simple back-projection a different

image is obtained, which does not correspond to the inital one (for example positive values

are assigned also to pixels outside of the object).

It turns out that a simple back-projection results in:

which means the original image is convolved with a point spread function h(x,y).
