PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project would replace three existing bridges at the Greensboro Arboretum.
The existing bridges are currently over 20 years old, which exceeds the expected
life-cycle of this particular bridge type, and are beginning to show signs of decay.
One of the bridges provides pedestrian access to the garden from Market Street
Park and the other two are the only means of access to particular sections of the
garden. This project is consistent with the City's MAP Goals (Maintain
Infrastructure and Provide Sustainable Growth Opportunities).
