An investment of $1.3m and the creation of 72 new jobs is the
order of the day for Zero Connect, a fiber optic and copper
cable production and marketing company, as it prepares to
launch operations in Pickens County, South Carolina. President
Larry Kendall highlighted the search for a skilled workforce as
one of the main reasons for the decision.
The new jobs will be for custom cable and assembly positions
as the company produces and distributes off-the-shelf fiber and
copper products used in the voice, data and video fields. You
