Patient consented to be randomized in EORTC 1219:
Accelerated radiotherapy + cisplatin
with or without nimorazole
Primary tumor + metastatic nodes: 70 Gy in 35 fr, 6x/wk
Neck (L), levels Ib-II-III-IV-V, retrostyloid and RP: 54.25 Gy
Neck (R), levels II-III-IV and RP: 54.25 Gy
VMAT-SIB technique
Cisplatin weekly 40 mg/m

Nimorazole or placebo
