DAY 1 - MALTA - PARIS Meet your tour manager at Malta International Airport for your flight to Paris. Upon arrival transfer to the 3* hotel in Paris. DAY 2 - PARIS Breakfast and time at leisure. Transfer to River Cruise where you will board your 6 night cruise. Crew presentation and welcome drink. Dinner on board. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. DAY 3 - PARIS - LAGNY-SUR-MARNE Proceed for tour of Paris, visiting the major sites of the capital, visiting the Place de la République, the main boulevards, the Opera, the Place de la Madeleine, Place Vendôme and the Louvre. Original walk along the prettiest covered walkways in Paris. Return on board. Departure of the cruise to Lagny-sur-Marne. Arrival during the evening. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 4 - LAGNY-SUR-MARNE - MEAUX - SAINT-JEAN-LES-DEUX-JUMEAUX Sail to Meaux and in the afternoon, visit this charming town, from Meaux Cathedral to the Bishops’ Palace, passing through Gallo-Roman ramparts and the magnificent Bossuet Garden, traditionally believed to be an early work of Le Nôtre. Visit the Brie de Meaux Exhibition Room, followed by cheese tasting hailed as “the King of Cheeses”. During this visit, the ship continues cruising to Saint-Jean-Les-Deux-Jumeaux where we will return on board. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 5 - SAINT-JEAN-LES-DEUX-JUMEAUX - CHÂTEAU THIERRY Morning spent sailing along Champigny and Drachy, through the heart of the Seine-et- Marne countryside and its Champagne vines. In the afternoon, arrival in Château Thierry and visit the Jean de la Fontaine Museum. Discover of the town of Château Thierry passing by the castle walls and the Hotel Dieu where Jean de la Fontaine also once lived. Return on board. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 6 - CHÂTEAU THIERRY - DORMANS Depart to Dormans and in the afternoon, depart by coach for excursion of Reims, guided tour of the historic center and its cathedral. Return on board in Dormans. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 7 - DORMANS - EPERNAY In the morning, depart to Epernay. In the afternoon join the tour of the famous Champagne route. Discovery tour of the village of Hautvilliers, birthplace of Champagne. Visit of a major Champagne house followed by champagne tasting. Return on board. Gala evening. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 8 - EPERNAY - PARIS Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark in the morning. Transfer to the 3* hotel in Paris. Time at leisure for personal sightseeing and shopping.
