Wherever you are in Forum Palermo, you are never too far from somewhere to sit, drink or eat. There is a good range of cafes ( sip your espresso at Segafredo or Lavazza),bars, pizzerias, fast food places( try Old Wild West) and restaurants ( Rossopomodoro and Rossosapore serve up authentic Neapolitan cuisine) giving you plenty of options when you are looking to drop your bags and take a load off. DAY 5 – PALERMO – MALTA Breakfast and transfer to Airport for your flight to Malta.

DAY 1 – MALTA – PALERMO - MONDELLO Meet the tour manager at Malta International for your flight to Palermo. Drive to Mondello which is more than just a beach resort, it’s an education in Sicilian custom, rituals and adolescent bonding. The road which curves behind the beach makes a pleasant stroll. Up at the far end of the bay, the ‘centre’ of the town, a waterfront piazza rather blighted by advertising boards for eateries, is useful for eating and shopping.The most historic sight is the old stone watchtower which predates the beach resort. It’s worth wandering up as far as the harbour, though, where small fishing boats bob up and down and old men fish from the jetty. The symbol of Mondello is the striking Art Nouveau building on a pier in the middle of the bay, the Charleston. Dating back to the more elegant heyday of the resort, this has been restored and sits in yellow glory over the blue waters of the bay. Transfer to your 4*hotel for check in. DAY 2 – MONREALE - PALERMO Breakfast and today we will start our tour by driving to Monreale where one can see the magnificent Norman Duomo with the imposing “Cristo Pantocratore”. This church is covered with mosaics with scenes from the Old Testament. Drive to Palermo with a visit to the Palazzo dei Normanni (entrance fee not included). From here one can follow on foot Via Vittorio Emanuele towards Via Maqueda. Visit the Cathedral which dates back to 1184, I Quattro Canti, The chuch of St Joseph dei Teatini and Piazza Pretoria. Further down on Via Vittorio Emanuele one can stroll along ‘Via Roma’ which is famous for its shops, Teatro Massimo and the Politeama Garibaldi theatre. DAY 3 – NATIONAL PARK MADONIE MOUNTAINS – GIBILMANNA – GRATTERI - CASTELBUONO Breakfast and the tour today will lead you to the National Park of the Madonie Mountains. First stop will be at Gibilmanna, which means ‘gibil’ a mountain of manna.

The name Manna comes from a sweetish substance that is collected from local Mountain Ash trees in late summer. Here we visit the Sanctuary and the Baroque Chapel of the Virgin Mary. Later drive to Gratteri which is a typical laid back Sicilian village. It is surrounded by beautiful pine, oaks woods and sites such as Pizzo Dipilo. The city boasts areas of historical importance to Sicily. Although probably founded by the Romans, as a coin discovered at the area seems to confirm, the town design betrays clear Arab-Medieval features. Here we stop for a Sicilian typical lunch(not included). Proceed to Castelbuono, famous for the old Castel built by the Ventimiglia family, and the famouse chapel of St Anna inside. St Anna is patron saint of Castelbuono (entrance fee to the Castel not included). Later walk in the picturesque streets and taste of some typical pastries and manna. DAY4 – CEFALU – FORUMSHOPPINGMALL After breakfast proceed for an orientational tour of Cefalu which is notable for beautiful sunsets, unpretentious charm, and a very appealing blend of ingredients for an Italian seaside holiday. Sandy beaches, a picturesque historic town on a rocky headland, some high culture in the shape of a fine Norman Cathedral, decent transport links, Sicilian food and sunshine all add up to make the town one of Italy’s most attractive seaside destinations. Unlike the modern beach resorts and developed fishing villages which dot Italy’s coast, Cefalù has some grandeur in its past, it was important enough that one of Sicily’s Norman rulers, Roger II, would build a glorious cathedral here. While its later history was less distinguished, there are some substantial and elegant buildings in the town, as well as reminders of Sicily’s varied influences, not just Norman and Byzantine, but also Arab, Spanish and finally Italian. Drive to Forum Shopping Mall. A stunning state-of-the art architecture, iconic design and over 120 shops Forum- Palermo offers a truly unique shopping experience.

DAY 1- MALTA – ROME Meet the tour leader at Malta International for flight Malta to Rome. Transfer to the 4* Fiume Hotel, Depart for the City tour of Rome visiting Republic Square, Barberini Square, Veneto Street, Villa Borghese, Ripetta Street, Mausoleo di Augusto, Pietra and Parliamento Square. Later proceed to The Catacombs which are spread over 17 kilometers of underground caves, some of which are inaccessible. They are laid out on four levels – one on top of another. The catacombs of the Eternal City offer one of the most complete and eloquent pictures of the Christian community in Imperial Rome, and of Catholicism in the city between the 2nd and 9th centuries. Until the 2nd century, in fact, the early Christians didn’t have their own cemeteries but were buried alongside the pagans in communal burial grounds outside the city along the main consular roads. The Apostle Peter was buried on the Vatican hill and St. Paul along the road to Ostia. Evening return transfers to Piazza di Spagna. DAY 2 – ETERNAL ROME Breakfast and today we will start our city tour by touring some of the most important landmarks of Rome, visiting St. Mary Major Basilica – one of the four main Basilicas in Rome – St. John in Lateran the ‘mother of all churches’, built under the emperor Constantine, the first Christian Caesar, and renewed by Borromini in the XVII century – The “Holy Stairs” with the 28 steps ascended by Christ in Pontius Pilates’ house during his trial, San Paolo Fuori le Mura which is a patriarchal basilica dedicated to St Paul, near the site of his tomb and containing his shrine. It is also the Roman basilica assigned to the Patriarch of Alexandria, and the second largest church in Rome. Later we will proceed to Navona Square, a typical

Baroque square and The Pantheon which is the most complete ancient building in Rome and one of the city’s most spectacular sights. Visit to the Vatican, St Peter`s Basilica the largest Church of the world, with millions of golden mosaics, several Tombs of Popes and the Pieta, Michelangelo`s most important sculpture. Evening return transfers to Piazza Navona. DAY 3 – IMPERIAL ROME Breakfast and the tour today will take us to the main places of interest such as The Colosseum , Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria and Campidoglio, Via del Babuino, Via del Corso, and Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna, the most famous square in Rome with its 138 steps and the fountain of the Barcaccia, the Trevi Fountain and more. We will also visit Trinita’ dei Monti which is a famous church in Rome, well known because of its location just above the Spanish Steps that descend into the Piazza di Spagna. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and the full name of the church is ‘Santissima Trinità al Monte Pincio’. Amazing Amalfi Coast Indulgence DAY 1 - ROME - SORRENTO Meet the tour leader at Malta International for flight Malta to Rome. Transfer to Sorrento, a charming town of the Sorrentine Peninsula famous for the cultivation of Oranges, Lemons and Olives trees. Check in at your 4* hotel. Join the tour leader for an introductory stroll in the centre of Sorrento. DAY 2 – SORRENTO - NAPLES - POMPEII Breakfast and transfer to Naples and upon arrival walking tour of the historical centre to admire the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Gallery of Umberto I, and the San Carlo Opera House. From Naples, continue to Pompeii, and enjoy a short visit to a coral and cameo factory. Visit the excavations of this ancient Roman city which was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio in 79 b.C. and buried under 4 to 6 meters of ash and stones. DAY 3 - SORRENTO – CAPRI Breakfast and depart to the island of Capri. You will board the boat for a round island tour. Once on the island you will visit the the Augustus Gardens and stop at the famous Piazzetta. After lunch (not included) you will return to Marina Grande where you will board the boat for your transfer back to Sorrento. DAY 4 – SORRENTO - POSITANO Breakfast and proceed to Positano via the breath-taking Amalfi Coast. In Positano our first stop will be on the heights of Positano from where we can have a panoramic view of the coast. We will then drive on to Amalfi and travel to Ravello where we can choose to have lunch ( not included). At the closure of the day’s programme, we will travel back to Sorrento where we can spend some free time. DAY 5 – SORRENTO - ROME Breakfast and time at leisure for last minute shopping. The place is one of the most famous skiing resort, weather permitting we will take a cable car (fee not included) to the top where we can enjoy magnificent views of the Dolomiti. Evening outing to Desenzano del Garda. DAY 7 – GARDA SHORES- MALTA Breakfast, time at leisure and later transfer to the Airport for your flight back to Malta.

(CANEVAWORLD) - AQUA PARK Another fun day ahead of us. After breakfast we visit Italy’s Hollywood. The first fun park created in Italy, located on the shores of Lake Garda, dedicated to the movie world, where every day the stuntmen give a show in which you can take part. Our full day at the park will be spent in an area of 60,000 m² in which visitors can peek behind the scenes of the industry’s most spectacular movies, discover the tricks and watch live shows that recreate the world’s most famous movies. An adventure experienced among gigantic movie sets, special effects, thrills, actors, stuntmen and the most famous movie sound tracks. Evening outing to Garda Town. DAY 5 - VENICE - PADOVA After breakfast you depart for your tour to Venice. Upon arrival we will get on the boat (fee not included) which will take us to Piazza San Marco. Our tour starts by sightseeing some of the main monuments such as St. Mark’s Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, the Doges’ Palace, the Campanile of San Marco and the famous Clock Tower. We then walk to the famous Rialto Bridge, with the possibility of indulging on a romantic tour of the canals on a traditional real Venetian Gondola (fee not included). In the afternoon we will walk through the narrow alleys of Venice so as to be able to discover some of the city’s hidden treasures. We admire the magnificent view over the Grand Canal and stroll around the stalls of one of Venice’s market places. On our way back

DAY 2 – ETERNAL AND IMPERIAL ROME Breakfast and today we will start our city tour by touring some of the most important landmarks of Rome, visiting St. Mary Major Basilica – one of the four main Basilicas in Rome – St. John in Lateran the ‘mother of all churches’, built under the emperor Constantine, the first Christian Caesar, and renewed by Borromini in the XVII century – The “Holy Stairs” with the 28 steps ascended by Christ in Pontius Pilates’ house during his trial, San Paolo Fuori le Mura which is a patriarchal basilica dedicated to St Paul, near the site of his tomb and containing his shrine. It is also the Roman basilica assigned to the Patriarch of Alexandria, and the second largest church in Rome. Later we will proceed to Navona Square, a typical Baroque square and The Pantheon which is the most complete ancient building in Rome and one of the city’s most spectacular sights. Visit to the Vatican, St Peter`s Basilica the largest Church of the world, with millions of golden mosaics, several Tombs of Popes and the Pieta, Michelangelo`s most

important sculpture. Later proceed to The Colosseum , Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria and Campidoglio, Via del Babuino, Via del Corso, and Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna, the most famous square in Rome with its 138 steps and the fountain of the Barcaccia, the Trevi Fountain and more. We will also visit Trinita’ dei Monti which is a famous church in Rome, well known because of its location just above the Spanish Steps that descend into the Piazza di Spagna. DAY 3 - ROMA - MONTEPULCIANO - PIENZA – SIENA Breakfast and depart for a delightful trip through the rolling hills of the Chianti Region. Will reach the hilltop town of Montepulciano, an ancient village rich of medieval and Renaissance buildings, famous for producing one of the oldest wines of Italy, the “Nobile di Montepulciano”. Proceed to Pienza, the Renaissance town built under Pope Pius II and also well- known for its pecorino cheese. The tour will proceed to Siena, where you will enjoy a visit of the old city centre. You will be walking along the medieval streets admiring splendid palaces. The sightseeing tour will end in the Piazza del Campo with its spectacular Cathedral. This is one of the most beautiful squares in the world and site of the famous 600 years old horse-race, called “Il Palio”. Check in at the 4* hotel.

The five villages, “CINQUE TERRE” is an area suspended between sea and land, hanging from sheer cliffs surrounded by hills and vineyards. You will enter into a little piece of heaven. By touring the coast line by boat, you will have the possibility to admire this amazing landscape from the

seaside*, like in a postcard. (*In the event of rough sea, the visit will be done partly by coach and partly by train.) During the tour, the boat will reach Portovenere and the most important villages. You will be able to stop at Porto Venere, Vernazza, Monterosso and visit them at leisure. DAY 6 - LA SPEZIA - CARRARA MARBLE CAVES - MONTECARLO DI LUCCA - ROME After breakfast at the hotel, the tour will take you to Carrara for a visit of the impressive marble quarries carved deep into the mountain. This is where Michelangelo took the raw material to create his superb masterpieces. By visiting the quarry museum you will admire ancient tools, some sculptures and the quarryman’s house. Continue to Montecarlo Di Lucca, a lovely town located on the hills around Lucca. This territory is ideal for the production of top quality wine and extra virgin olive oil. Check in at the 4* hotel. DAY 1 – MALTA – PARIS Meet the tour manager at Malta International Airport for your flight to Paris. Transfer to The 4* Crown Plaza Republique or similar. After assignment of rooms you will proceed for a panoramic tour of this stunning city including The Eiffel Tower, truly the symbol of Paris, and the most visited monument in the world. Built in 1887, it is still the tallest structure in Paris, equivalent to an 81-storey building, you will experience magnificent views over the city. DAY 2 – PARIS TOUR Breakfast and you will proceed for a full day tour including many sites such as the Place de la ConcordeVisit Arc de Triomphe and also Notre Dame Cathedral. The Gothic Cathedral is on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité in Paris, with its main entrance to the west. It is still used as a Roman Catholic cawthedral and is the seat of the Archbishop of Paris. Notre Dame de Paris is widely considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. It was restored and saved from destruction by Viollet-le Duc, one of France’s most famous architects. Notre Dame translates as “Our Lady” in French. DAY 3 – VERSAILLES - CHAMPS ELYSEES SHOPPING After breakfast you will head for your morning tour to the Château de Versailles. When the château was built, Versailles was a country village, but it is now a suburb of Paris. From 1682, when King Louis XIV moved from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in 1789, the Court of Versailles was the centre of power in Ancien Régime France. Highlights include: Hall of Mirrors – site of the signing of the treaty that ended World War I and also offers a beautiful view over the gardens and The King’s State Apartments – bedrooms of both King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette. It also has a few works by other renowned artists such as Paul Gauguin and Claude Monet. Enjoy a free evening or discover the famous Red Light District through an optional tour to be booked and paid on board. Although the famous neighborhood leaves nothing to the imagination, it’s also one of the oldest and most beautiful parts of the city. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 4 - AMSTERDAM - ROTTERDAM We’ll spend the morning cruising towards Utrecht and arrive by midday. In the afternoon, join us for an optional visit of Delft and Rotterdam. Delft is a charming city dating back to the 13th century and is world-renowned for its blue and white Delft pottery. We’ll be able to admire the centuries-old techniques of this imitation porcelain. We’ll then visit Rotterdam, a city dominated by modern architecture. While enjoying our tour, the ship will cruise to Rotterdam, where we will board at the end of the afternoon. This evening the entertainment DAY 5 - ROTTERDAM - ANTWERP We’ll start our day with an early morning start cruising towards Antwerp. We’ll sail past Dordrecht and enter the Holland Diep — crossing though the Volkerak and Kreekak locks. After crossing the Dutch-Belgian border, we’ll continue up the Scheldt River to Antwerp, the second largest harbour in the world after Rotterdam. In the afternoon, we’ll set out on an optional guided visit of Antwerp and its impressive Gothic cathedral. We’ll also visit a diamond merchant in this diamond shopper’s paradise. Over five centuries, Antwerp was the commercial heart of Europe and approximately 40% of world trade passed through its ports. The diamond industry naturally grew out of this favored position. This will be our festive gala evening. We’ll remain in port overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. DAY 6 - ANTWERP Enjoy one last breakfast on board before disembarking.
