The business was acquired in 2007 to further strengthen Hubbell’s position in the substation market. To complete the bushing products portfolio with a focus on newer bushing technologies, Hubbell subsequently acquired Electro Composites in 2008, adding

Bushing technologies There are three bushing technologies available to both Original Equipment Manufacturers and Electric Utilities: POC®, PRC® and SDC™, as shown in Fig.1.
