MARCIA RADLER has written another book entitled, ANOTHER KIND OF LOVE. This novel is about love being ageless. Babies need it. Teens crave it. Adults complicate it. And the elderly want it to relive it, but acting on it is another story. Actually, acting on it is exactly what this story is about. Henry Silverman is seventy-six years old and he needs some “horizontal stimulation,” as he calls it. He is a member of the Executive Dating Service, so he places an advertisement in the service’s bimonthly bulletin with a hope and a prayer maybe some Boca Raton fox will respond and they can explore the possibilities.

By week’s end, Henry’s mailbox is bursting with responses and he has his work cut out for him–maybe more than he and his stash of Viagra can handle.

And he is not the only one facing love-related challenges. Another Kind of Love is about relationships of all kinds. It intertwines love’s humor, pathos and multi-layered realities–as well as its dark side in the form of an ugly secret that threads the story through, writhing to be discovered. It’s ultimate reveal is shocking and totally unexpected.

Marcia took eight years on and off to write this book!

The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community but moved to new dwellings. Of course we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address.
