IN MEMORY OF:

Dr. Richard Phillips

hen the Conservation Club was formed In the fall of 1988, there was one man in particular who provided much help and influence in getting

the club off the ground. That man was Dr. Richard Phillips, Marine Science professor. It was through his inspiration that the Club's goals were realized and made apparent to the administration. He made the Conservation Club a priority in his schedule; no problem or complication was too small for his concern. This year Dr. Phillips left his position as advisor, leaving Dr. Gerald ~tberg to fill his place. In the transference of advisorship the club " would like to thank Dr. Phillips for mak– ing the club a priority, helping the club achievegoals and forproviding an example In his detennination."
