Hellos and Goodbyes!! If you’ve been on the lake for a while or have read my brief history of ice cream boats, you all know that every few years there comes a time for someone new to take their turn delivering frozen treats and happiness. The time for my retirement has come (wooo unemployment! hehe) and I am genuinely delighted to announce my successors, Shaun Avery and Shannon Faxon. I had each of them on the boat with me for a day last summer, and one of the days when I couldn’t make it to the lake they stepped right up and ran it for me! This summer as they cruise around dishing out gelato, I’m sure they’re bound to hear many of the same questions – so, to streamline the process (and have some fun!) I thought I’d ask them a bunch of questions to share with everyone!
