Junior Program Reminder

Junior Clinics will resume Monday, August 19th. If you would like to sign your little player up or if you need help placing him or her into the correct group, please contact us at tennis@horseshoebendcc.com. We are looking forward to having everyone back, fresh, and ready to learn. PeeWee (Red Ball – Ages 3 & 4) Tuesday/Thursday – 3:15pm to 4:00pm Little Stars (Red Ball – Ages 5 to 8) Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 4:00pm to 4:45pm Rising Stars (Orange Ball – Ages 8 to 11) Tuesday/Thursday – 4:00pm to 5:00pm Junior Academy (Yellow Ball) Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday – 5:00pm to 7:00pm Make sure you come out for the Fall Boot Camp! This unique camp will teach you how to maximize your game and how to beat your opponent’s different game styles. Helping you launch into your Fall season, the 4-day boot camp includes eight hours of instruction from our qualified teaching professionals. The boot camp is designed for players of all levels that regularly play doubles and are looking to improve their technical, tactical and strategic knowledge. We will focus on doubles specific drills to help improve your match play. Participants will work with all our pros and will have the opportunity to hit with many different players. Adult Boot Camps

Friday Night Social / Round Robin Friday, August 23rd

The HBCC Tennis Singles Club Championships will begin with matches on July 22nd and our “Finals Day” will take place on August 23rd. The format for this year’s event will be a round robin with the preliminary matches played between July 22nd and August 21st. To accommodate busy schedules members will organize preliminary matches at their convenience during this time. There will be flights of A, B and C. The junior events will consist of a 16/u age group event. On the final day, events for the 8/u, 10/u and 12/u will be held. Entries fees are $25 for a singles event. Singles Tennis Club Championships Finals August 23rd Partners will be regularly mixed up, allowing players to be as social or competitive as you like. Keep in mind, it doesn’t matter if you don’t play tennis! Give it a go or cheer the players on from the Vantage Point Bar! All members are welcome! The evening is open to players of all levels to come out and experience the award-winning facility. Meet us upstairs at the Vantage Point Bar between 6:30pm and 7:00pm for drinks by signature. At 7:30pm, head to the courts for some fun!
