петер цуМтор, архитектор (Щвейцария) – Экспертам, которые подготовили про- грамму, я бы сказал: «постарайтесь четко представить себе, хотите ли вы получить проект здания с оп- ределенными функциями на определенном участке или вы ищете, кроме того, еще и гра- достроительные идеи, которые бы помогли определить участок и местоположение нового здания». конкурс на проект PermMuseumXXI оказался чем-то средним между этими дву- мя формами конкурса, и это, конечно, нехо- рошо. членам жюри я бы советовал яснее донес- ти в комментариях к своему решению, что вы искали не просто проект здания, но еще гра- достроительные идеи, не являющиеся, строго говоря, ответом на конкурсное задание (смот- рите сказанное выше). а участникам конкурса я бы сказал: «конечно, очень важно соблюдать прави- ла, но в конце концов цель конкурса – вы- явить качество, содержательность и найти самое лучшее градостроительное и архитек- турное решение и для данного здания, и для участка. так, архитектор, который решается на представление проекта, в некоторой мере нарушающего правила, поскольку считает его более соответствующим конкурсному зада- нию и участку, рискует оказаться выгнанным из конкурса. но иногда жюри признает, что конкурсный проект может демонстрировать более адекватный подход к заданию, чем под- готовившие это задание предполагали». – конкурс, безусловно стал событием. Работать было одно удовольствие, а его ре- зультаты мне кажутся очень интересными. Этот конкурс с очень большим международ- ным участием, с участием видных предста- вителей архитектурного мира, зарубежных – п. цумтор, п. ноевер, заха Хадид, Х. Рашид, Э.о. Мосс; наших мастеров в. плоткина, а. са- вина, а. чельцова, а. Peter Zumtor, architect (switzerland) – To the the advisers preparing the program of the competi- tion and say: Try to be clear about the fact whether your looking for a building with a specific program on a specific site or whether you are also looking for urbanistic ideas to define site and loca- tion of he new building. This perm competition ended up some- where in the middle of these two forms of competitions which of course is not very satisfying. To the jury I would say, try to be more clear in your communi- cation of the judgment in stating the fact that you have been not only looking for a building but also for urbanistic ideas not explicitly asked for in the program (see above). And to the participants I would say: of course it is important to follow the rules, but at the end the competition is about quality, about content, it is about the best urbanistic and architectural solution for the building and the site. so the architect feeling that he should submit a project violating the rules to some extend because he thinks he could fulfill the requirements of task and site in a better way like that – he takes a risqu é to be expelled. But sometimes the jury acknowledges the fact that a competition–entry can show a better approach for dealing with the task then the people writing the program had anticipated. – The Contest has certainly become an important cultural event. It was a real pleasure to participate in it, and its results seem very interesting to me. A lot of prominent representatives of the architectural world from many countries participated in the competition, among them such professionals from abroad as p. Zumtor, p. noever, Zaha Hadid, H. rashid, E.o. Moss; and our architects – V. plotkin, A. savin, A. Cheltsov, A. Brodski, T. Kuzembaev. I am very glad that the winners of the Contest are our colleagues from russia – the group of Boris Bernaskoni. To excel the outstanding Zaha Hadid is a great success of the young architects that nobody expected.
