From the beginning of the 1990 he has been engaged in the research work in the field of interrelations between art, architecture and information technologies. His Water Pavilion received an international recognition in 1997. It was the first building in the world, filled with the new media. In 2004 NOX designed the DTower, the SonOhouse and a group of buildings in Lille, France. Lars Spuybroek is the holder of a number awards. Сегодня наиболее зна- чимый проект в творческой де- ятель­ности коллектива – это ре- конструкция пансионата «Клязь­- минское водохранилище». В рам- ках проекта реализованы здания «Яхт-офиса», ресторана «Кот Да- зур», гостевые дома и мини-гос- тиницы. В 2006 году мастерская была удостоена второго места в конкурсе на проект моста-му- зея Academia в Венеции, проект также был отмечен российским конкурсом «Золотое сечение». | tOtAn KuZeMbAyev Arhitects | Moscow, russia | The architectural studio of Totan Kuzembaev was founded in 2002. The basic lines of its activity are residential and public buildings. The basis of many designs is the unique ability of Totan Kuzembayev to skill- fully use such a material as wood. His de- signs are not only vanguard but also represent an original «art-gesture». Today one of the most significant results of this creative activ- ity of his team is the reconstruction of the Rest Home «Klyazmiskoye Vodokhranilische». Within the framework of this project the «Yachting Office» building, the «Cat Dazur» restaurant, guest houses and mini-hotels have been built. In 2006 the studio was awarded with the second prize in the contest of the designs of the Academia Bridge-Museum in Venice. With the completion of the con- struction of each building the zone of the stu- dio’s researches is extended, progresses further on, developing its ideas. At present the result of this work is a complex of diverse «input data» – findings, ideas, discoveries, inspira- tions – from which the architects chose the general determinative philosophy of each new project on the base of the existing preconditions.
