Scents of Home: Bringing the Joy of Fragrance to Capitol Hill

On November 1, 2017, hundreds gathered to attend IFRANA’s Capitol Hill Perfumery Event, “Scents of Home.” IFRANA showcased the creative artistry of its perfumers in front of an audience of members of Congress, Hill staff, and industry insiders. Perfumers from leading fragrance houses created custom scents, all centered around the event theme of “home.” To elevate the educational aspect of the event, IFRANA partnered with the Monell Chemical Senses Center. Monell helped drive home an important message: the research demonstrating the benefits of fragrance. The “Scents of Home” event allowed our perfumers to create, our regulatory experts to promote safety, and our staff to build relationships. The evening’s success was made possible through the generosity and enthusiasm of Arylessence, Firmenich, IFF, Givaudan, Mane, and Symrise. We look forward to hosting our next perfumery event on Capitol Hill on July 17, 2018.
