In this role, she coordinated the efforts of CropLife member companies to advocate for science-based risk assessments for plant biotech products. Taiwo lives with her husband, who is a psychiatrist, and their 6-year-old son in Maryland. She enjoys traveling, especially returning to Nigeria to visit her extended family at least once a year. A talented writer, she is the author of “Redemption,” which tells the story of a young orphan girl who defies all odds by choosing forgiveness instead of bitterness to build a better future. “There is more to be said of fragrance than just a sweet smell. It is a reminder of a lifetime of experiences; it awakens the memory, it summons back the past, and allows for reliving moments that could otherwise be lost. Innovation and creativity are at the core of the fragrance industry, and providing science- and risk-based regulatory assessments are essential in promoting this creativity.”
