Clubhouse – Scott Greenfelder Had clubhouse sprayed for spiders this evening. I’m here on Wednesday nights to make sure everything is covered. Grouting needs to be done. Spring projects almost mostly done. Floor replacement next to ice maker complete. A discussion ensued about the use of the upstairs facility (bathroom) by members who aren’t staying in one of the rooms. It is the board’s position that the upstairs facility is exclusively for the people staying in the rooms. A motion was made by Scott Greenfelder to pursue getting signs made up to post upstairs to remind the membership of this. Seconded by P/C Carroll. MOTION CARRIED. Tom Altobelli Tom recommended to please buy Mark and Bev Schoen a drink for “working their tails off and relentlessly giving their time”. All agreed. Big help to Tom. Sprinklers were not working? Timer was zeroed out after Tom had them set. R/C Calihan said it happened to him as well when he was the H&G director. Do we need to lock the timer box? Having trouble with new sprinkler pump. Will take it back and get different one. Got a call from Brent Kahl to meet and go over what needs to be fixed now. Need some new pilings in the harbor. Put together a 5 year needs plan. Attempting to get ahold of the sign company to get the new signs complete in next few weeks. These are outdoor signs, commercial material to withstand weather. Scott Greenfelder suggested Tom call Art and Sue Brooks Membership Debbie Siwek Got 4 new applications. Plan is to conduct the interviews, then do the board approvals via email, as opposed to waiting to approve at the July BOD meeting. Publications – Ron Draper Asked if all directors got 2 rosters? Pushing membership to get rosters and membership cards at the club. Will be available at the club until the end of July to avoid the cost of mailing them. Extra copies are available for sale. Need to keep couple copies in reserve for new members. Dale Hall asked about getting them out of liquor room as it’s getting crowded. Discussed sending emails to people who haven’t picked up their rosters. Will remind through Fanout. Secretary – Glenn Nixon Weekend OD and worker schedule has been very stable. Discussed an upcoming OD manager ‘s concern about needing more help for one of the bigger event weekends. P/C Carroll mentioned most things on that weekend are outside, so help may not be as short as thought. Also, talking to Leslie Leitch about adding verbiage to OD manual about the club rules for incoming rendezvous. Looking for signed agreements for the organizers of the rendezvous to ensure club rule compliance. Debbie Siwek commented she has some members asking if they can satisfy their 4 work party hours by helping out for some of the poker run events. Board stated no, unless they sponsor the event. Harbor & Grounds
