Christmas is just over the hill, so we’ve compiled a list of the games we’re most excited about in the run up to the silly season. Chances are, you’ll be excited about them too.

Words: Alesha Kolbe

BATTLEFIELD 1 . RELEASE DATE 21/10/16 .

DISHONORED 2 . RELEASE DATE 11/11/16 .

Ever since that trailer dropped back in May, interest in Battlefield 1 has been at fever pitch. Pulling the game back to the First World War was an inspired move on EA’s behalf, allowing them to incorporate dogfighting, tank battles, desert and trench warfare. Prepare to go over the top.

Corvo’s back, and so is his daughter. Dishonored 2 will take Corvo back to his roots,

and this time you can even play as Emily. Go stealthy, or go loud – the choice is yours.

THE LAST GUARDIAN . RELEASE DATE 26/10/16 .

The game the entire world has been losing its collective mind over for a very long time finally has a release date, and it’s this year.

WATCH DOGS 2 . RELEASE DATE 15/11/16 .

Aiden Pearce is gone, and he’s been replaced by Marcus Holloway. Watch Dogs 2 will see the introduction of new co-op missions and a ton of new gameplay options to look forward to, all unfolding in the new setting of sunny San Francisco.
