St. Patrick’s Day lands on March 17 with the world famous Chebeague Island parade and Corned Beef and Cabbage will be prepared for Wednesday soup on March 18. The Council has been organizing the upcoming Spring Health Fair scheduled for April 11. Please mark your calendars to attend the health screenings, which will be conducted by the marvelous USM nursing students. The Council and Island Commons have teamed up to bring Amy Angelo, Program Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association of Maine, to the Island Hall on Thursday, April 16 at 11:00am. She will present the latest findings, diagnostic tools, and resources for families navigating dementia. Stay warm and keep in touch.
