March 2026 Newsletter Chebeague Transportation Company
CTC took delivery of Bus Two in February. While the bus is new to us, it was purchased used, allowing us to significantly reduce costs while still providing a comfortable and reliable ride. The bus offers more legroom than our other buses, along with ample rear space for freight. Purchasing a high quality used vehicle helps us manage expenses responsibly and keep transportation costs as low as possible for the community.
Tom Roth (The Seaweed Guy) Tom joined CTC as a part-time captain in March 2024 and quickly proved to be a great fit. A true jack-of-all-trades, Tom also operates a seaweed business called Vitamin Sea, which produces everything from seasonings to pet supplements. His maritime experience includes work on commercial fishing and towing vessels.
2026 Route One Parking Stickers Now is the time to purchase your 2026 Route One parking sticker. Please call the office to purchase your sticker— we’re happy to mail it to you so it’s on your vehicle before you arrive for the season. If you arrive at the lot without a sticker attached or without having purchased one, you will be required to pay the daily parking rate. Any daily fees paid will be credited toward the cost of your annual sticker. We look forward to seeing you soon!
This winter, Tom was promoted to full-time status, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him in this expanded role!
