Swim Labor Day Weekend Pool Party, September 2nd

Labor Day Hours of Operation, September 5th

The Main Clubhouse, Course, and Practice Facilities will be open Monday, September 5th and closed Tuesday, September 6th. The Grandstand Tavern will be open Monday from 11:00am-6:00pm. The lunch a la carte menu will be available 11:00am-3:00pm and the pizza and bar menu will be available from 3:00pm-6:00pm.

Summer is coming to a close; make sure you don’t miss out on the Labor Day weekend festivities at the pool! The weekend will kick off with music and a party on Friday evening. The kids will be entertained with games just for them while the adults will be able to relax and enjoy all the Tennis & Swim Center has to offer! Questions? Pool Closing for the Season, September 5th

Golf

The swim complex will close for the season at 8:00pm on Labor Day, September 5th. We hope you’ve enjoyed the season and look forward to 2017!

Senior Club Championship, September 10th-11th

Our annual Men’s Senior Club Championship will take place on September 10th and 11th. The two-day competition among three age divisions will search for the lowest gross scoring player to be crowned the Men’s Senior Club Champion! We will also have division winners for our Senior (ages 55-64), Super Senior (65-69), and Legends (70 and older) flights. In addition to the gross winners, we will have prizes for the low net winners in each of the respective divisions. Play will begin at 8:00am, and lunch will be served in the Jockey Room following play both days. The cost to enter is $100 per player and includes golf Saturday and Sunday, prizes for our winners, as well as lunch after play each day. Sign ups can be completed via the link sent in the weekly E-blast. Please call the Golf Shop at 770-992-1818 with any questions. Our One Day Men’s Member/Guest Tournament includes lunch, available from 11:30-12:45pm, a 1:00pm shotgun, prizes, and drinks after play in the Jockey Room. The cost for this event is $130 for one member and one guest. Members may invite up to 3 guests to play in the event. The cost for each additional guest is $65. Signups are available through September 12th. If you have not already signed up, hurry to reserve your spot! You may sign up through the link sent in the weekly E-blast. For questions, please contact the Golf Shop. The Ladies Member/Guest Tournament is quickly approaching, and the staff has been working to make sure this year is better than ever! We have two fun-filled days in store as you battle for a coveted Horse Trophy and an invitation to the annual Champions Dinner. In addition to wonderful golf, competition, and camaraderie, you and your guest will enjoy two days of breakfast and lunch from our Executive Chef, Tom Costello. Kids’ Night Out - Totally Tennis, September 10th

Are your kids the next Andy Murray and Serena Williams? Here at Horseshoe Bend CC, our kids love to play tennis! This Kids’ Night Out is action-packed with tennis games and activities all night long. Sign the kids up, then make an adult-only dinner reservation for the Grandstand Tavern. Kids’ Night Out will be held at the Tennis and Swim Clubhouse on Saturday, September 10th from 5pm-9pm. There will be many tennis games in store for kids ages 5-12 years old. Dinner will be provided, including make-your-own ice cream sundaes! Reservations are a must for this popular event, and price per child is $21.95. Reservations can be made through the Member Portal on the HBCC website. Cancellations after September 7th will be charged. Are your kids the next Jordan Spieth and Lydia Ko? Here at Horseshoe Bend CC, our kids love to play golf! Horseshoe Bend CC is happy to welcome back Executive Chef Tom Costello and his culinary staff! Chef Tom along with HBCC management have conducted an extensive review of sales, operating hours, and offered menus by outlet. Based on our findings, we have created new food and beverage programs which will offer a variety of dining options that will suit our growing membership and your expectations. Our programs and menus will be diverse and will offer something for everyone! We are excited to announce our new programs will begin September 7th along with new lunch and dinner menus: Lunch - The Grandstand Terrace: Tuesday - Saturday; 11:00am - 3:00pm Lunch a la carte menu and Pizza menu will be served on the Terrace. Sunday; 11:00am - 3:00pm A Brunch menu featuring the best breakfast and lunch options will be available along with our Pizza menu on the Grandstand Terrace. Dinner - The Grandstand Tavern and Terrace: Tuesday; 3:00pm - 6:00pm Bar and Pizza menu will be available in the Grandstand Tavern Bar. Wednesday; 5:00pm – 9:00pm A la carte dinner menu and Pizza menu will be available. Occasional dinner specials will be offered; see the weekly E-blast and website for details. Friday Night Tennis Social, All Members Welcome!

Every Friday evening, the Tennis and Swim Clubhouse holds a Friday Night Tennis Social. The night is open to players of all levels to come out and experience the award winning facility. All players are certain to have a lot of fun! The night begins upstairs in the Vantage Point Bar between 6:30pm and 7pm with drinks by signature. At 7:30pm, the players head to the court. To keep it fun, partners will be regularly mixed up allowing players to be as social or competitive as you like. After tennis, players meet back in the Vantage Point Bar around 9:30pm to socialize until close. Keep in mind, if you don’t play tennis, it doesn’t matter!
