Often considered the preferred grape variety for aging, we are here offering Armagnac made from the Baco grape variety, unaged, as if it just came out of the still. In its intense nose, you will discover fruity aromas (mirabelle plum, white peach and fresh grapes) as well as herb aromas (fennel, mint) offering a very pleasant nose, almost crispy. On the palate, this Blanche is supple with a dry profile. The intensity is pronounced with an ample mouth. Spicy notes of pepper prolong the pleasure. Darroze Blanche Armagnac Folle Blanche 98PF / 700ML The Folle Blanch variety is the historical grape variety of Armagnac. It has long been the only one planted in Gascony (before the phylloxera crisis) and was then called the Piquepoult of the country. It is known for producing very fine and delicate armagnacs. The intensity of the nose is very distinct: very fruity (grapefruit, plum, fresh grape) and spicy (Sichuan pepper). One could use it in a

balance and finesse. Its nose is sharp, of medium intensity, smooth and very delicate. Classic aromas such as grape, plum, and quince meet more surprising ones such as fresh cane and cane sugar. This Blanche isn’t sweet yet silky and delicate. Beautiful aromas of bitter almond, vine flower and raisins highlight that finesse.
