INVERROCHE CAPE AGHULAS, SOUTH AFRICA As a valued customer we would like to introduce you to our latest addition to the Pascal Schildt Selections portfolio (we are the exclusive importer) from the craft distillery called INVERROCHE. Close to the most southern tip of Africa, a powerful part of the world, where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. INVERROCHE is aptly named... it means “the confluence of rocks.” These Gins are made with 13-15 different botanicals, some unique to South Africa. Vegetation in the Cape (the smallest, most diverse floral Kingdom in the world) is called Fynbos ... translated as “fine bush”. Made from a sugar cane base at 96pf and then diluted with local filtered mountain water to 57% before being distilled in a 900 litre pot still (wood fired) The Gin basket is actually placed lower in the pot-still (not in the neck) which allows for some condensation of vapors to infuse longer with the botanicals. The head and tail are discarded and only the heart is kept. Inverroche Gin Classic 86PF / 750ML The Classic is crispy and dry with upfront green, grassy juniper notes blended seaMLessly. Redolent of summer citrus, rose petals and assertive florals, delivering a clean, dry and spicy finish. Inverroche Gin Verdant 86PF / 750ML The Verdant is floral and soft with a translucent golden green hue. Delicate aromas of elderflower and chamomile, lead to summer blooms, a touch of spice, subtle juniper, waxy lemon rind and liquorice on the palate. Inverroche Gin Amber 86PF / 750ML The Amber is a rich and aromatic, amber colored with fresh citrus, slight juniper, sweet toffee apples and delicate floral notes that intertwine to a dry, woody finish.
