LIQUEUR

BLENDED FAMILY USA, GEORGIA Created by Scott Mayer, a bartender with over twenty years of experience in the industry, who grew up in Georgia. “Once I created a peach flavor, I realized that there was a need for an American Made, natural liqueur line and, together with my partners, created Blended Family Spirits to meet that need.” Blended Family Liqueurs Blueberry No. 22 50PF / 750ML Native to North America, blueberries are rarely used to make Liqueurs. No. 22 mixes them with select botanical and natural flavors to deliver a truly unique expression. Blended Family Liqueurs Peach No. 4 50PF / 750ML Coming directly from “The Peach State”, No. 4 is reminiscent of Georgia in the springtime with strong flavors of peach and subtle notes of Honeysuckle. Blended Family Liqueurs Raspberry No. 8 50PF / 750ML We have blended raspberries with the finest possible natural flavors to achieve the bright and fresh flavor contained in this bottle. Blended Family Liqueurs Triple Sec No. 17 80PF / 750ML No.17 brings sweet and bitter ornage peels together with orange blossom and select botanicals. BLY Ancho Chili Liqueur is a rum-based liqueur that is created by infusing chopped Ancho chili peppers (along with the seeds) in BLY 105 Rum for several days. The infusion is then filtered and brought down to 80 proof with simple syrup. The end result is a rum-based liqueur complimented by authentic Ancho chili flavors. CATHEAD DISTILLERY USA, MISSISSIPPI The term “Cathead” is a compliment in Mississippi, first coined back in the day by blues musicians as a nod to artists they respect. Cathead Hoodoo Chicory Liqueur 66.6PF / 750ML Made by the same folks that make Cathead Vodka, Hoodoo is closer to a traditional coffee liqueur. It’s lower proof, so it’s a better fit for coffee cocktails. It has the aroma of fresh ground nuts and peanut shells with a dark brownish gold color. The taste is nicely balanced with a pleasant underlying sweetness that provides body but it’s never cloying. It has more potential than just spiking coffee though, and Tiki fans will find that Hoodoo adds a bit of exotic mystery to fall and winter tipples. BLY USA, PENNSYLVANIA Using locally sourced ingredients, their spirits are created to stand out in a market cluttered with mediocrity, to demonstrate true craftsmanship in distilling. ARGIOLAS ITALY, SARDEGNA The Argiolas family has worked diligently to become the leader in Sardinian enology and insists on using native Sardinian vines. Argiolas Tremontis Mirto Liqueur 60PF / 750ML A unique Sardinian liqueur made from the berries of the Mirto (Myrtle) plant. Violet red in color with herbal aromas, it is bittersweet on the palate and backed by flavors of mint, eucalyptus, juniper and spices. Sardinians traditionally drink Mirto at the end of a meal, and it is a unique ingredient in creative mixology. 90-95pts Wine Enthusiast AVERELL DAMSON NEW YORK, FINGER LAKES The Damson Plum made its way to North America with early settlers. The Damson is the tartest and spiciest of all plums. Historically famous in jams, brandy and gin, these small, crimson plums have become rare, losing popularity to larger and sweeter cultivated varieties. Averell Damson Plum Gin Liqueur 66PF / 750ML During New York State’s Fall Damson harvest, Damson plums are barrel pressed to extract the juice along with the rich color of the skins, and then united with a small batch American gin. The resulting spirit offers sweet aromas of berry, plum and spice that lead to a tart, full flavored palate. Rich, concentrated notes of fresh fruit linger on the finish. All natural. “Does wonders for iced black iced tea, and can be used in sparkling wine to give a new twist to kir royale.” The New York Times. BOOMSMA HOLLAND, FRIESLAND Boomsma is an independent family-owned distillery which produces award-winning artisanal Dutch Genevers (the gin’s forerunner) as well as Bitters since its foundation in 1883. The company, run today by the fifth generation, crafts a wide range of spirits while keeping the family tradition and centuries’ old recipes alive through their flagship Friesland spirits. Boomsma Clerkampster Cloosterbitter Liqueur 80PF / 750ML / 100ML This herbal bitter is produced by Dutch genever distiller Boomsma. Cloosterbitter is based on a 15th century recipe, made with a blend of 17 herbs and plants found in the Frisian meadows during the month of May. Delicious chilled on the rocks, in a mixed drink or in cocktails. “Tangy and sweet in the mouth, the ethereral softness complements the gentle herbal flavor that elaborates each sip before finishing with a touch of bitterness.” 91pts Excellent Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2016
