FRESHMAN (2006): Made 15 appearances...posted a record of 1-1 with an ERA of 5.09...threw in 23 innings while registering 17 strike– outs while serving as a mainstay in the Toreros bull pen... recorded a season-high four strikeouts against UC Irvine (2/21 /06). HIGH SCHOOL: Earned one varsity letter in baseball playing for Burt Call at Mater Dei High ...helped team win the CIF Division I Champion– ship, while earning a first-team AII-CIF selection as a senior. PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 17, 1986 in San Clemente, Calif. ..undecided major at USO... chose to attend USO because of the academics, the baseball program and because ii is close to home...was also recruited by UC Santa Barbara, Long Beach State and Concordia.

FRESHMAN (2006): Made 20 appearances with nine starts.. .posted a 4-4 record with an ERA of 4.42 in 55.0 innings of work... Picked up his first collegiate win against Washington allowing three runs on nine hits, while striking out five in 5.1 innings of work (3/7/06)...picked up a win against Texas Southern allowing one run on six hits, while striking out five in 6.1 innings of work (3/15/06)...picked up a win against UNLV al– lowing no runs on four hits in six complete innings of work (3/26/06). HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two varsity letters playing for Robert Lavato at James Madison High .. .hit .466 with 112 strikeouts during his senior season ... named the Harbor League Player of the Year during his senior season...hit .516 with 115 strikeouts during his junior season en route to earning the Harbor League Offensive Player of the Year award .. .also lettered in football. PERSONAL: Born July 1, 1987 in San Diego, Calif... undeclared ma– jor at USO.. .chose to attend USO because it was close to home and because of the baseball program.

FRESHMAN (2005): Made 19 appearances posting a 1-1 record with an ERA of 10.29 while serving as a mainstay in the Toreros bull pen... recorded 12 strikeouts in 21.0 innings of work. HIGH SCHOOL: All-time leader in career wins and innings pitched as a prep standout at Rancho Buena Vista High School. .. named a Second Team All-Palomar League player as a senior, going 6-3 and posting a 2.30 ERA... three-year letterman at RBV. .. won all five of his decisions (5-0) as a prep sophomore... then won eight games (8-4) his junior season... also reached the state championship game playing with the Orange County Dawgs club team.
