The brand new Bee & Honey Tent will be a hive of activity, with the local Beekeepers Association offering lots of interesting and fun activities such as an observation hive of live bees, displays and demonstrations and honey tastings as well as a fun quiz for kids and a candle rolling workshop. Make sure you follow the Rowse Queen Bee Honey Trail to collect your prize!

The Bee and Honey Tent is quite literally buzzing with information and members are more than happy to dish out helpful tips and advice for anyone interested in beekeeping. There will be lots of information on how we can help to protect honeybees and suggestions on types of plants, flowers and equipment we can use in our gardens. Rowse will be creating a buzz with their own hive experience. The ‘Wonderhive’ will offer a unique sensory experience; including a wild, bee friendly meadow and a gigantic hive, which people can enter to learn about the honey making process and the chance to view a real beehive in action. Rowse will also be showcasing their Hives for Lives programme and handing out free goody bags for anyone who visits the experience.
