Showcasing the very best of British food and farming! Try a variety of hands-on activities, watch demonstrations and learn more about why supporting British farming is so important. University of Reading Join the University of Reading in an interactive exploration of the five senses and discover their fascinating research by immersing yourself in incredible virtual reality, scratching and sniffing smelly plants, finding out how musical you are, exploring your taste preferences and much more! Spark your senses with this hands-on, family friendly stand. The Produce Tent Come and see how the food chain works with an interactive demonstrations, from raw material to the finished product. Watch and help a baker make cakes using vegetables, help the apple man produce the freshest apple juice and see how pressing the yellow fields of spring can produce oil. You can also sample a well-known local ale so the tent has something to attract and interest everyone! Berkshire Young Farmers
