2014 February Beacon

From the Editor… As we enter into the month of February, all can see that we are defiantly getting into the heart of winter. We have all learned a new Weather Term from our weatherman – ‘Polar Vortex’, or as I like too call it…Bi-Polar Vortex, as Mother- nature can’t make up her mind if she wants to hit us with subarctic temperatures or multiple inches of snow from week- to-week. We know one thing? It’s been one hard winter so far. I want to thank our New Commodore, John Anderson and his wife Beverly for kicking off the year with such a ‘beautiful and wonderful’ Commodores Ball…what a great party they through, Thank You! Please see the fabulous pictures taken by member Bill Eden in the back of the Beacon…he really captured the nights moments!
