What if my baby needs extra care following birth, can I go to Gosford Private Maternity? Gosford Private Maternity has a Level two Neonatal Special Care Nursery which is staffed by a team of highly qualified paediatric specialists and delivers support for babies who need special care following birth. This includes care related to prematurity over 32 weeks, low birth weight, feeding difficulties or jaundice, and birth or breathing difficulties. Can my partner stay? Yes they are more than welcome to stay for the duration of the Mother and baby's visit in the spaciously appointed postnatal suites which will feature comfortable Murphy beds.
