Archery ~ Ages 7-11 Location: Lake Kennedy Center • Archery PAL ages 7-11 Participants will increase their focus and determination, learn goal setting, build confidence, and creates friendships. Champions in Motion is a low cost competitive cheer team that has been around for over 35 years. Class is $12 per week and no experience is necessary. Ages 4-18 are welcome. * Must register with Champions in Motion Ages 4-6, 5:45pm • Ages 7-9, 6:30pm • Ages 10-18, 7:15pm • Advanced**, 8:00pm * advanced team is by invitation only. Clay Kids (8-12 yrs) with Dawn Ingram Location: Cape Coral Art Center Students are taught how to construct hand building techniques such as pinch, coil and slab to make projects using clay. Projects will be worked on through steps of construction towards the finishing steps with glaze. Clay, glazes, and firing are included the fee for the class. This class can be messy so have student dress accordingly. In this fun-filled class, kids will dive into creative coding activities using beginner-friendly and popular languages like Scratch, C, C++, Python, and more. Whether your child is new to coding or already loves technology, this class is the perfect place to learn and grow. We’ll build games, programs, animations, and tons of cool digital projects using both our computers and our imaginations! Along the way, kids will de velop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence—all while having a blast. Let’s code, create, and have fun! Eagles Skate Park does not provide transportation. Boys and girls are invited to wear fairy wings or costume of choice. Registration is required in advance as there are limited spaces and food is ordered specifically for this activity. PLEASE INFORM STAFF OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES UPON REGISTRATION. Held rain or shine, the party is moved inside if inclement weather occurs. Kids aged 5-14 will have a blast with video games, “Capture the Flag,” air hockey, skee-ball, music, and much more! Rest assured, all chil dren will be under the supervision of staff trained in first aid, CPR, and DCF guidelines. Plus, pizza will be served to all participants halfway through the evening. Game Night is hosted every Friday (when school is in session). Game is $20.00 every Friday. It’s a drop-off program, so parents can enjoy their evening worry-free! Champions in Motion - Martial Arts Location: Lake Kennedy Center Champions In Motion Martial Arts • Ages 4-18. Wednesdays, $10 per week Students will be taught kicks, punches, blocks, stances, katas, sparring combinations, and other martial arts/self-defense techniques and strategies. Students can progress through belt ranks all the way from white belt (beginner) to black belt. Students will learn safety awareness, stranger danger concepts, and proper ways to deal with bullies and other potentially dangerous confrontations. Other benefits of this program will be improved self-confidence, self-esteem, leadership skills, and focus.
