Syria - Over 500 thousand people living in besieged (surrounded) cities without food 4. Iraq - ISIS’s territory on the decline 5. Central Africa - 20 million people facing severe famine and civil war 6. Turkey - President manipulating the constitution to move towards a militarised and autocratic state 7. Russia - Making every effort to destabilise the West with election interference and NATO pressure 8. South China Sea - “We’re going to war in the South China Sea…no doubt” (Steve Bannon, senior Trump advisor) 9. USA - A country that will struggle to co-operate with Australia over the next four years, all the while continuing to destroy intelligent political discussion 10.
