March-April 2019 Newsletter

GENERAL MANAGER'S MESSAGE

DearMembers, I hope this spring edition of the Greystone newsletter, “The Stone News” finds you well. We have endured a very wet winter and the staff is surely ready for an incredible spring season for you to enjoy your Club. Our new golf car fleet has arrived and we are ready for some players to utilize them. The new seats, steering, overall ride and features like the USB port really upgrade the member experience. Also, we will have a second full size refreshment vehicle at Legacy and we are retiring the Cushman to tennis. We have added two four-seater golf cars at each course for families. If a family of three to four players with any combination of member, spouse and dependent children ride together in one of these vehicles, the maximum fee will be $50 for the family. We have some important capital projects in progress. As you know, we planned to embark on the redesign of the main floor at the Founders clubhouse in the first quarter. After looking at our planning, we decided to be more conservative and have the money in house from the monthly capital payments before spending it. It can be a significant cash flow challenge during the busy second quarter if we front load our capital spending. We experienced this last year with the pool renovations. All aspects of the project have been ordered and we are on a plan to execute during aerification in June, if not sooner. The added benefit is waiting until after Regions to give the new flooring and furnishings an extra year without that level of traffic. In the meantime, we are executing some small necessary projects: new HVAC in the Trophy Room and Conference Room, new awning with new lighting at Founders, and Gates for the Founders loading dock.

The Regions Tradition member ticket package has been unveiled for 2019. We have expanded the viewing deck on#9 green to be double the sizewith a large portion to be covered. There will be incredible entertainment,

food and beverage, and new fun. For instance, on Saturday there will be a concert with Black Jacket Symphony on #10 where members can enjoy a VIP area up front with a separate bar. Also, we have added the option to spread out your payments for the ticket package over threemonths. As mentioned byMr. Scalici, the final day of Regions will fall on Mother's Day; our Mother's Day Brunch will be moved to Legacy. We’ll assure your experience is outstanding as we celebrate all of the amazing mothers. This year's Regions Tradition will be the best so far as we are committed to improve the experience each year.

"Mother’s Day Brunch on May 12th will be available at Legacy & reservations are open from 10am-2pm."

We have an exciting event coming up for the members that is not included in this newsletter edition. Saturday, May 4th will be our Spring Member Appreciation Party in Cellar 91 and the Patio. Enjoy complimentary food stations, a live band & signature drinks. I am so proud of our first two classes of students to graduate from Greystone University. We will be sending a supplemental newsletter out for celebration of the graduates. It will explain the entire program and spotlight each graduate. We have some amazing upcoming events planned, as you can see in this publication. I encourage you to participate and enjoy all your Club has to offer. Please download the Greystone App from the App Store for free and stay in close communication with what is happening, plus you can be a couple clicks from a dining reservation, tee time or looking up a friend’s phone number.

I look forward to seeing you and your family at the Club soon.

Best regards,

Dave Porter General Manager
