GerberColor™ FX Special Effect Series Foils Refills include high opacity flood coat whtie and jet black foils for solid coverage applications and white and grey tint foils for special print effects and accents; designed to modify the appearance of a base colour. They are durable, dimensionally stable, resin-based foils designed for use with the GERBER EDGE FX™. Jet Black foil has an extra-heavy pigment construction intended for use in the production of interior or exterior graphics, film positives, or any graphics requiring high density blackouts.

Flood Coat White foils feature an extra-heavy pigment construction that allows a highly opaque white foil to be applied in a single pass.

SpectraTint should be used on top of a base colour to produce tinted highlights without gradients, thereby lightening or softening the base colour. SpectraShade should be used on top of a base colour to darken that colour without gradients, thereby shading the base colour to darken its tone. The use of the SpectraTint and SpectraShade foils enables the production of a wider range of Edge printed spot colours, to better match corporate colours or to create special shading effects on shapes and large text.
