MULTI LABORATORY TEST

Infant Formula QC Material All thirteen participating laboratories reported results for the Infant Formula QC Material including the four Heavy Metal analytes, Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury and Lead. The raw data, precision and trueness data are shown in the tables below. Arsenic: Lab 5, 8, 11 and 13 results were excluded from the precision determination for not meeting the SMPR recovery requirement of 60-115%. The 9 labs used for the precision determination reported a RSD(r) value of 20.7 and a RSD(R) value of 26.1. Neither precision results met the requirements of the SMPR. Cadmium: Lab 5, 8, 11 and 13 results were excluded from the precision determination for not meeting the SMPR recovery requirement of 60-115%. The 9 labs used for the precision determination reported a RSD(r) value of 20.8 and a RSD(R) value of 26.8. RSD(r) did not meet precision requirements while RSD(R) did meet the precision requirements of the SMPR. Mercury: Lab 5, 8 and 13 results were excluded from the precision determination for not meeting the SMPR recovery requirement of 60-115%. The 10 labs used for the precision determination reported a RSD(r) value of 19.0 and a RSD(R) value of 22.9. RSD(r) did not meet precision requirements while RSD(R) did meet the precision requirements of the SMPR. Lead: Lab 5, 8, 9, 11 and 13 results were excluded from the precision determination for not meeting the SMPR recovery requirement of 60-115%. The 8 labs used for the precision determination reported a RSD(r) value of 25.9 and a RSD(R) value of 34.2. Neither precision results met the requirements of the SMPR.
