Kim Crawford Rosé is made from Merlot and Malbec grapes. Fruit for this rosé comes from selected vineyards in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. This wine shows a vibrant pink hue, even though it spends little time on the skins. The nose of this wine is brimming with bright berry and tropical fruit, and the palate is soft and luscious with hints of watermelon and strawberry. Sensational with seafood.

Located in the Gaspereau Valley, Luckett Vineyards overlooks and is influenced by the Bay of Fundy. Since 2010, they have been producing wines true to the Maritime Climate that showcase local grape varieties grown in the rocky and clay rich soil. Phone Box Red offers concentrated layers of raisin, prune and stewed black fruit from the blend of partially dried Lucie Kuhlmann, Maréchal Foch, Castel and Léon Millot. Aged in Hungarian and American oak barrels for 14 months, this full-bodied and tannic red pairs well with hearty stews, roasted vegetables and grilled beef.

In the spring of 2017, Wayne Gretzky Estate Winery and Distillery opened in the heart of Niagara -On-The-Lake wine country. #99 Cabernet Merlot is a classic red blend, the Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure while the Merlot fills in with fruit flavors like plum and cherry. This wine is medium- bodied, fruit forward with a bouquet of black currant, black plum, vanilla, leather and baking spice. Black tea, cocoa and black currant linger on the dry finish. The richness of fatty meats like beef goes beautifully with the tannins in this wine. Slow cooked beef pot roast makes for an ideal partner with #99 Cabernet Merlot.
