EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION GUIDE

Presenters Booth Electrical/Mechanical Chase

KES Installer 1. Mount and anchor electrical/mechanicalchase and cabinet in proper position. Pre-Construction Meeting Agenda

General Contractor 1. Ensure plywood wall sheathing / blocking is in place and all wall finishes are complete and ready for equipment. Electrical Contractor 1. After chase is installed, complete wiring of main power feeder to electrical / mechanical chase. 2. Test and confirm all receptacles in electrical / mechanical chase are “hot” and supplied with the correct power and phasing.

Fire Protection System

Electrical Contractor 1. Wire pressure switch to interlock circuits per McDonald’s drawings.

Fire Protection FASC 1. Assemble fire protection system and check out for proper operation. 2. Make final connection, test and certify all grill and fryer systems. 3. When local codes require remitting part or all of system, this can be done under special arrangements with the Ansul Company and ACM. 4. If testing is required by local code, arrange test date and time with local authorities. Notify KES and region ACM of test arrangements. 5. Unpack and mount the portable fire extinguishers in the designated locations.

Front Counter

General Contractor GC Provided 1. Uncrate and install counter top. 2. Provide temporary blocking for countertop support. 3. Cover and protect countertop upon completion, utilize durablematerials.

KES Installer KES Provided

1. Uncrate and install counter top when supplied by KES. Identify location for register holes with the owner operator. If not able to cut holes without registers present notify and coordinate future cuts with the GC. 2. Uncrate and install stainless steel wing walls, cash drawer saddle and printer baskets to countertop. Remove all temporary bracing and dispose of debris.

Owner Operator 1. Direct POS installer on register and cash drawer locations.
