EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION GUIDE

Trash Removal

The installer is to remove all packing material or other trash as it is accumulated by the equipment installation. The trash is to be placed in a container or area designated by the general contractor and removed from the premises by the general contractor.

Beverage Systems

KES Installer 1. Notify the beverage system FASC what day will be needed. 2. Set self serve beverage bar in place. 3. Provide all holes and openings in S / S and corian top for ice dispenser, drink tower, drain trough, etc. 4. Secure base molding on SSBB 5. Silicone SSBB to wall 6. Uncrate the drink system (including ice-making equipment)

7. Set stand in place as shown on prints. - Automated Beverage System (ABS) - Uncrate unit and install 6” legs that come with dispenser. - Put remaining installation kit parts in original box and place atop the ice bin lid.

8. Direct electrical contractor on wiring to the unit. 9. Direct plumbing contractor on installing drains. 10.Direct refrigeration contractor to pull pre-charged ice machine refrigeration lines to remote condenser per manufacturer’s spec. 11. Coordinate and arrange actual start-up if final connections are possible during installation. Beverage Installer 1. Supply, run and connect all syrup and water line conduits from rear room equipment to beverage tower locations. 2. Set or hang all rear room package components per manufacturer’s instructions on specified support 3. NOTE: Each water line needs their own individual shut off valve at appliance. Supply, run and connect all approved water tubing and / or CO2 lines from the water treatment / supply and CO2 line in the back room (past the CO2 cross-over) to following pre-set units: - Coffee Machines – booster, filtered, phosphate if over 200 TDS then RO water. - Ice Machines – boosted, filtered, phosphate - Orange Juice Dispenser – boosted, filtered, chilled - RO System - boosted, pre-filtered - Beverage Filter System – boosted, pre-filtered - Specialty Coffee Machine – RO water, run do not connect (FASC connects and completes start up) - Tea Brewers – boosted, filtered, phosphate - Blended Ice Unit - boosted, pre-filtered and CO2

- Filet Steamer – RO water, connect - Ketchup Dispenser – CO2 line only - Bulk syrup and CO2 tanks 4. Deliver box marked “Plumber’s Attention” to plumbing contractor.

5. If re-circulating system has remote cooled condenser the refrigeration contractor will run but not connect pre-charged refrigeration lines. Beverage installer will hook up to the remote refrigeration system. The addition of refrigerant must be performed by Beverage installer. - If ABS and another Beverage installer are starting up ABS, the recirculation system Beverage installer must run but not connect the ambient bundle for syrups. - If ABS with re-circulating system, recirculation unit Beverage installer must run and connect all re-circulat ing line bundles including those for water and soda for the ABS, and start up and calibrate all except ABS. - The ABS Beverage installer will connect the ambient syrup bundle at both ends.
