Sometimes I study this book on Ganesha by Rankoran Kannakaran, who expounds on the understanding (which he claims was given him by Shivananda) that Ganesha resides in the center of the head, this core being the real Muladhara; this center is traditionally considered as “Brahma Randran’, “the hole of Brahma”, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple of God; it is a center closely connected to very essential glands in the human organism, it is also the center of the nectar, of amrita, activated by tapasya, between and behind the brows and in the vertical axis that joins the center above the head to the one below the sacrum. It is very sensitive in our work. And just yesterday I read in the 9th book of Satprem’s diary how the experience of this very center was crucial to the massive flow of the Force which worked at transforming the body-consciousness, as a sort of safety valve to let it pass, but also as an organ of nourishment and breath for the new being...
