its condition and make sure that it is properly set up with  sufficient space and separation from other activities   If professional entertainers are employed, establish whether  their acts involve any potential safety risk and whether they  have public liability insurance   For events with water sports, ensure that life saving equipment  is on hand and in good condition and that a qualified lifeguard  is present all the time and that any marine craft and staff and  equipment comply with the appropriate regulations.   Where the event requires the installation of temporary  electrical systems, ensure that a competent person is  appointed to be responsible for their safety   If high noise levels are anticipated, for instance music or  cheering, establish whether this is likely to cause a nuisance to  neighboring residents or businesses, and consider what  measures can be taken to limit its level and/or duration  Corporate Event Risk Profile Record  If a hazard is present, or is likely to be present in the setting up of the  event, running of the event and the clear‐up afterwards it is to be  recorded and recommend additional precautions, if necessary, to  reduce the level of risk and liability as far as is reasonably  practicable. The following pro‐forma maybe used, again specific  events may require this to be extended.
