New leaf growth appears in a startling, vibrant red, which eventually matures to dark green. Clusters of small white flowers will also appear throughout the hedge if left unpruned the previous year, which are followed by an abundance of charming red berries. Plant in Autumn to build up resistance from winter frost. Talk to your local garden centre.
